Very Cool Tech LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Catch the Bunny mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
When you create an account, we collect:
The App collects precise GPS location data to provide ski and snowboard tracking. This includes:
Location data is collected at approximately one-second intervals while you are actively in a game session. If you grant background location permission, the App continues collecting location data while in the background (e.g., when your phone is in your pocket) at reduced intervals of approximately three seconds.
Location data is only collected during active game sessions. The App does not track your location when you are not in a game.
The App uses your device's accelerometer to detect falls while skiing or snowboarding. Raw accelerometer data is processed entirely on your device and is not sent to our servers. Only the total number of detected falls per session is recorded.

If you send messages using the in-game chat feature, those messages are transmitted to other players in your current game session.
The App requests camera access solely for scanning QR codes to join game sessions. We do not capture, store, or transmit photos or video from your camera.

When you join a game session, the following information is shared in real time with other players in that session:
Your location and stats are only visible to players in game sessions you actively join. You control who sees your data by choosing which games to join.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs in the App. There are no analytics pixels, event forwarding, or data sharing with external services.

We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Very Cool Tech LLC, our users, or others.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Game session data (runs, statistics, GPS tracks) is retained to provide you with historical activity records.
If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information from our servers within 30 days. Some data may be retained in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being permanently removed.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data:
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
You can control location access through your device settings at any time. Denying location permission will prevent the App from tracking ski activity, but you can still use account features.
Background location is optional. You can use the App with foreground-only location permission. Background location allows tracking to continue when your phone is in your pocket.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@catchthebunny.com.
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by contacting us at support@catchthebunny.com.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@catchthebunny.com and we will promptly delete it.
The App is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
