The App uses your phone's GPS to automatically detect ski runs, lift rides, and calculate statistics like speed, vertical, and distance. For best results, grant background location permission so tracking continues while your phone is in your pocket.
Tap "Join a Game" on the home screen and enter the 4-character code shared by the game creator, or scan their QR code using the camera icon. You can join a game at any time, even if it's already in progress.
The App will queue your ski run data and chat messages locally if you lose cell service on the mountain. They will be uploaded automatically when connectivity is restored.
The App relies on GPS signals from your phone. Accuracy depends on your device, satellite coverage, and mountain conditions. Data should be treated as approximate — it's great for fun competition but not for precision measurement.
The App uses your phone's accelerometer to detect sudden impacts consistent with falls. It may occasionally miss falls or register false positives. Fall detection is a fun stat, not a safety feature — always seek help if injured.
